Nha Trang Stadium or Sân vận động 19 tháng 8 in Vietnamese is a multi-purpose sports stadium which is home to local side Sanna Khanh Hoa BVN F.C from Khánh Hòa Province.
The stadium’s full name in English is Nha Trang 19th August which commemorates the anniversary of one of Vietnam’s key revolutions, and most important dates in the country’s history.
Known as the August General Uprising, the League for the Independence of Vietnam rebelled against French Colonial Rule, and by September 2nd 1945 had effectively taken over the country, unifying government control.
Capable of accommodating up to 25,000 spectators per match, Nha Trang Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium which is predominantly used to host the football matches of Sanna Khanh Hoa BVN F.C.
Equipped with an athletics track around the perimeter of the pitch, 19th August Stadium is set to be one of the host venues of the 2016 Asian Beach Games.
Consequently the ground is expected to receive investment in order to help modernise the facilities.
