Đồng Nai Stadium or Sân vận động Đồng Nai in Vietnamese is a multi-purpose ground which is predominantly used to host the football matches of Biên Hòa based team Đồng Nai F.C.
Stadion Dong Nai is a stadium constructed in the 20th century outdoor mould which means that the stand combine together to form an oval shape as a result of the athletics track, and each stand typically remains unsheltered due to the lack of roof.
Capable of seating approximately 25,000 supporters, Đồng Nai Stadium, recently underwent two major renovations in order to help modernise the facilities. It is currently the third largest football ground in Vietnam.
Firstly a state-of-the-art floodlight system was installed in 2013 in order to permit the hosting of night time sporting events and football matches.
Costing an estimated 20 billion Vietnamese dong which equates to $950,000, the system was imported from America and is one typically used by college stadiums throughout the country.
A year later in 2014, a further 20 billion Vietnamese dong was spent on Dong Nai Stadium, this time in order to improve the athletics track. Beginning to deteriorate at this point, the track was replaced by a one which is now capable of hosting Internationally sanctioned athletics events.
