Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium History

Captain stadium I Wayan Dipta was originally home to local side PS Gianyar, however the football ground became vacant in 2005 after the club folded following on from severe financial difficulties.

When the Indonesia Premier League was rebranded into the Indonesia Super League in 2013 interested in football increased across the country, and two teams from Bali moved into the stadium.

Currently the main football team which used the stadium is Bali United Pusam F.C after Bali Devata F.C were dissolved.

The stadium featured one covered main stand and four interconnected stands which are arranged in an oval shaped which mimics the curve of the athletics track around the perimeter of the pitch.
