For years now Zlatan has had a dark cloud looming over his footballing success. Can he do it in the Premier League? Well this question is completely stupid because of course he can, as I’m sure he will prove this coming year! I’ve personally placed on a big bet that Manchester United will win the league and Zlatan will be the top goal scorer, through free bet providers. But how can I be so sure Zlatan will do so well? Well let me tell you.
Zlatan isn’t use to losing
Out of 15 seasons Ibra has won 13 league titles. Football Clubs don’t choose Zlatan. Zlatan chooses football clubs! While it’s true adding a world class striker to a team would help it win the league, Zlatan only goes to teams where he’s pretty sure he can win the league. The only upset in recent times was with Milan where they lost to the now dominant Juventus. Perhaps his love for Milan blinded him and he should have moved to PSG a season earlier but we can forgive him for that.
Zlatan can smash a parked bus
For some reasons English teams seem to have a reputation for playing extremely defensive football, the ‘English Style’ or parking the bus. Every manager takes part in game management towards the end of a game but it’s not uncommon for this to occur from minute 1 with some Premier League teams. Anyone can score against a high lined Arsenal but can you do it on a wet Wednesday night in Stoke? Well Ibra can! Coming from Sweden Zlatan is no stranger to the cold. Additionally the combination of his physical presence and ability to get off a shot while surrounded by defenders means he’ll have no trouble breaking down these supposingly unbreakable sides.
Zlatan is a workaholic
Zlatan reminded me of another red Gary Neville! Young Gary new he wasn’t the most talented footballer and so he new he’d need to make up for it in other ways so he because ‘the one’ who was first to turn up to training, last to leave and always took his diet very seriously. Now take Gary Nevillle’s work rate with the striking ability of Brazilian Ronaldo and get Ibrahimovic! Not only is he most the most talented footballers in the world, he is also one of the hardest working footballers in the world. Whatever the premier league throws at him I’m sure he’ll be able to learn from it and thrive.
So come the end of the season when I’m a millionaire from betting my live savings on Ibra and Man Utd you can say, yes. You were right!
