How have Manchester United done in the 2019 summer transfer window?

2019 has been the year of transfers. Some of the biggest players in the world of football seem to have found greener pastures. Eden Hazard, the star striker from Belgium shifted base to Real Madrid after spending a few highly-successful seasons with Chelsea FC. His move to Real Madrid left Chelsea fans across the globe heartbroken.

German giants Bayern Munich have also made a few big-banner signings. Croatian star Ivan Perišić has been roped in on loan from Inter Milan in order to bolster the midfield reserves. His inclusion in the squad comes as a shot in the arm for the German powerhouse as they look to defend their Bundesliga title.

Several teams featuring in the Premier League have signed some promising youngsters. Manchester United, one of the most celebrated clubs in the history of the Premier League football, have been in the news of late.The Premier League giants have signed a few promising youngsters. Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are long-term prospects and have showcased a lot of early promise. Both these players are capable of turning the game on its head.

Harry Maguire’s signing has also created a lot of ripples in English football. The 26-year-old has been roped in from Leicester City. The 2019-20 season of the Premier League promises a lot of thrills and spills. Manchester United is a team of fighters. Just when you write them off, they tend to bounce back. Fans are eagerly waiting to see their favourite footballers in action. Premier League hospitality tickets have been selling out at a rate of knots. Fans love cheering for the Red Devils while sitting in the stadium. It’s an experience which cannot be described in words.

Harry Maguire: When he was playing for Liecester City FC, The opportunities he got were pretty much limited. Also, his performances weren’t being watched by me. Now that he’s playing for Manchester United, he would be expected to perform in each match. There certainly would not be a dearth of opportunities. It would be really exciting to see him in action this summer.

Daniel James: The English youngster has taken the world of football by storm. In three matches for Manchester United, he has scored a couple of goals. Also, his ability to outsmart his opponents on the field makes him a potent weapon. At 21, he has already attracted a lot of eyeballs. At 21, he has a long road ahead of him. The Red Devils have some excellent raw material to work with. It is just a matter of time before Daniel James becomes a formidable force. Aaron Wan-Bissaka: Aaron Wan-Bissaka has been roped into the side after his impressive show with Crystal Palace. Traditionally, defence has never been Manchester United’s strength. Wan-Bissaka’s addition will give them a long-term prospect to work with. At 21, he has already shown glimpses of his talent, promise and skill. Manchester United will provide him with a platform to go up by several notches. It would be interesting to see whether or not Wan-Bissaka would be able to grab the opportunity with both his hands.
