Chicago, Illinois, is the home of history-making sports teams such as the Chicago Bulls, the Cubs, the White Sox, and the Blackhawks as one of thirteen American cities with professional teams in all four major sports – including one of only four cities with two Major League Baseball teams – Illinois is the home of incredible stadiums and arenas where fans can watch some of the world’s most notable athletes.

The United Centre

The most iconic player in NBA (National Basketball Association) history can be found slam dunking a ball in the form of a statue outside the United Centre, and Michael Jordan is just one of the countless stars who’ve wowed the crowds of over 40 million people since its construction in 1994.
As the largest arena in the United States, the United Centre is a must-visit location for any sports fan travelling throughout Chicago or living local to the area. William Wirtz and Jerry Reinsdorf combined their resources to build the arena, and as majority owners of the Blackhawks and Bulls, respectively, the location hosts games for both teams.

With the nationwide surge in online sports betting legalization including Illinois, the United Center, in conjunction with the FanDuel sports group, is constructing a sportsbook inside the arena.
Illinois sports betting will be made simple when the in-arena sportsbook lounge will provide customers with sports wagering inside the United Center. Plans for the sportsbook include a two-story venue unlike any sportsbook in North America, with state-of-the-art viewing and sports wagering technology and a customer service team ready to personalise each customer experience.

Wrigley Field Sports Center Stadium

Following 108 years of playing host to the Chicago Cubs, it’s safe to say that Wrigley Field is one of the most emblematic locations in American sports history.

The must-see stadium is located in the Wrigleyville region within Chicago’s Lakeview district. Distinctive ivy can be found scaling the brick walls. Bill Murray is a regular visitor, and the Ernie Banks statue is the perfect photo opportunity, with an endless number of bars and restaurants around the field is enough to keep the public entertained.

Guaranteed Rate Field Sports Center Stadium

Home of the Chicago White Sox, the Guaranteed Rate Field is a remarkable venue that baseball fans should attend.

Formerly known as the Cellular Field, Guaranteed Rate Field is located in Armour Square, a modest area close to the Bridgeport neighbourhood. The stadium has hosted White Sox games since 1991 and is conveniently opposite the White Sox’s former home Comiskey Park.
Comiskey Park is an additional trip across the street that’s worth a visit, and initially, this location hosted the White Sox team from 1910 to 1990. Additionally, Comiskey Park has become a prime location for pre-game tailgates.

Soldier Field Sports Center Stadium

Soldier Field is a stadium that has hosted the Chicago Bears since 1988, but you can also find numerous music concerts taking place all year round.

The Bears are one of the most decorated teams in NFL history, and they possess more players in the Pro Football Hall of Fame than any other team in the league. After leaving Wrigley Field in 1987, the Bears arrived at Soldier Field and have played their home fixtures here ever since.

Allstate Arena Sports Center & Concert Hall

Found close to the Chicago Rosemont area, the Allstate Arena hosts countless events to appease music and sports fans alike.

The Chicago Wolves of the AHL play here, and it’s the former home of college basketball’s DePaul Blue Devils. Beyonce, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, and Springsteen have all played under the Allstate Arena spotlights, making this site the perfect sports/music combination.
To add, the Allstate has previously hosted WrestleMania and has been the ideal venue for WWE events in Chicago ever since.

Wintrust Arena Sports Center & Concert Hall

McCormick Square is the grounds where you can find the Wintrust Arena, an extensive convention center located on the South Side of Chicago.

Women’s NBA team, the Chicago Sky and NCAAB favourites, the DePaul Blue Devils, can be found during their home fixtures at the Wintrust Arena.

The arena itself is relatively new, opening in 2017 with a 10,000 seated capacity. The architecture complements the building, and a nighttime game will present a beautifully lit stadium.
