Darul Makmur Stadium first opened in 1970 and since then has been the home ground of Malaysian Super League side, Pahang F.A. Multi-purpose by design with a blue athletics track around the perimeter of the pitch, the stadium has twice been renovated to host the Sukma Games, firstly in 1996 and more recently in 2012.
