Home to Ekstraklasa side Górnik Zabrze, Ernest Pohl is currently undergoing major renovations with the work expecting to take the capacity from 3,000 to an impressive 32,000.

Ernest Pohl Stadium History
Stadion Górnika Zabrze first opened in 1934 with a capacity of 10,000, however it is currently being rebuilt as Ernest Pohl Stadium in a completely different location. The new stadium which shares the same name is set to cost a reported 150 mln Zlotys, and will be capable of seating 32,000 supporters.
Currently there’s no official date when the new stadium will be complete, however three out of four stands are reportedly complete as of April 2013.
